Do you dream of owning your own business?

The FastTrac® NewVenture™ program allows participants to look at all aspects of their business concept, exploring the feasibility of their new venture and learning how to develop a viable business plan. This “gold-standard” business development program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, is fast-paced, interactive and energizing.

Guest speakers and entrepreneurs bring their real world experience to make topics come alive. Participants develop their business plan through group activities & coaching from professional business counselors. The workbook has step-by-step, in-depth information.

FastTrac® participants have access to business plan and financials templates online. Participants don't just learn about business, they work on their own business venture throughout the program. Assistance can continue after completion through the Small Business & Technology Development centers to ensure long-term success.

Participants Learn:

  • What being an entrepreneur is all about and decide if it’s the best career choice for them
