KCSourceLink was one of the sponsors of the first Innovation Summit at Kansas City, Kansas, Community College earlier this month. Mary Beth Oliver of Imagine Management, LLC, won the "Perfect Pitch" competition for her mobile phone caddy. She received a $500 prize and a ticket to the American Corporate Growth Conference. Twelve entrants pitched for the prize before a group of local investors.
The Summit also included a panel discussion facilitated by Maria Meyers, our CEO, and a keynote speech on disruptive innovation by Dean Tan of the UMKC Bloch School. The Brainzooming Group pulled 11 Strategic Questions for Disruptive Innovations in Markets as a take-away from the day's activities. Enjoy!
