Yesterday Kansas City entrepreneurs and innovators, thinkers and creators, mavericks and magnates kicked off One Week KC, a week of entrepreneurial wonder so awesome and epic that it couldn't possibly be contained in a mere seven days.
In fact, One Week KC is a full nine (count 'em, nine!) days of entrepreneurial empowerment, from June 18 to June 26.
Yesterday's events--including the Kauffman Foundation's Demo Day and the Big Idea Exchange (our own Maria Meyers shared the panel with the Big Thinkers around the KC Chamber's Big 5 Initiative) gave KC entrepreneurs just a taste of what's to come this week and the big things that are in store for KC's future.
Today's events are no slouch either.
Maybe you hit already hit the Google for Small Businesses 101 this morning? Or maybe you're getting ready to crowd the room for Crowdfunding Your Business at the Tech Entrepreneur Speakers Program this evening?
Maybe you'll join Kansas City area developers and hackers at the Python KC Meetup. Or perhaps you'd like to mix a little trivia into your tech-a-tetes with the Silicon Prairie News Pub Quiz at the Beacon.
Here's the deal: during One Week KC, you’ll find entrepreneurial empowerment all around the Kansas City metro area. It’s our chance to share ideas with great thinkers, to get inspired, to learn and connect, to make things happen and to help pave KC’s way to becoming America’s most entrepreneurial city.
Ready. Set. Mark Your Calendars.
